The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Canada has lost a good friend.  Club member Gilbert Kahn, of Newport, Rhode Island, passed away on February 23, 2010.  Mr. Kahn was an all breed judge, a Cavalier and Shih Tzu breeder, and had been involved in campaigning many top dogs in the U.S.

Mr. Kahn was frequently in attendance at Canadian Cavalier Specialties, including the most recent one in Halifax, and donated generously to many club activities.  He was a kind and gentle man, and he will be missed.
